Friday 18 october
With the forecast changing, and no significant rain forecast overnight in Cheltenham, San Telm will stay at home tomorrow. He has an entry in Fontwell on Wednesday which looks far less competitive, and will also be put in the Silver Trophy in Chepstow a week tomorrow, and a Pertemps Qualifier in Aintree a week on Sunday. We will pick the best race for him out of those three on Tuesday. Everything else seems in great form. Coffers has an entry for his debut in Exeter next week. This handsome son of Bahamian Bounty has been showing up very very well at home and if he stays the trip will run a very nice race. Benefit Cut is still on course for Southwell on Thursday. Colebrooke has Statford in the diary a week on Saturday for his seasonal debut. Smart Exit has recovered form his slight set back and will resume cantering tomorrow. It looks like being a busy few days ahead - hopefully the day job will have calmed down by then, but I will have to be at it over the weekend so for that reason it looks unlikely that I will be at the yard tomorrow.
