Tuesday 29 October
I've lost the plot!! I have been tracking a lovely 3 year old colt all season, that has a really decent pedigree, and has the size and scope to make a super juvenile hurdler. I really like juvenile hurdlers - and have a 100% record when I buy them - they have all won!! They are instant fun, and represent the easiest and often cheapest way to get a runner at the Cheltenham Festival!! The horse in question goes through the sale ring tomorrow - so if you would be interested in having a share in him with me then please get in touch today - it may just tip the balance!!! Back at home - Tuesday is ratings day - Benefit Cut up 5 (118), Colebrooke down 2 (120), San Telm no change (124). All will now go hurdling. Being a work morning this morning, and San Telm and Colebrooke both having run - they popped up the chase fences instead. Both were very good, with San Telm showing a real aptitude for it in particular! BC is likely to go back to 2 miles in a novices chase. Paddy Brennan who's plan so nearly worked on him last week has more plans to try, and seems to be very keen on the horse. He keeps saying that he must have stacks of ability, so if he settles he could be really quite good!! Smart Exit has an entry on Friday, but a slightly mucky scope yesterday may rule him out of that (along with good ground), he will be entered in Plumpton and Warwick next week, and will hopefully get to run before he has a tilt at the Cambridgeshire National in Huntingdon at the end of November. There is a 12.5% share now for sale in him - so again - if you would like instant fun (runs in the next week) then please get in touch!! There are already 2 interested parties in this share and it will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. My contact details are 07909 518902, or email info@nickbrownracing.co.uk
