The next horse from Fences Farm to go to the races is Smart Exit. He makes the short trip to Towcester this afternoon for the 3 mile handicap chase. The trip, track and ground should suit, and he seems in fantastic order at home. Josh Moore has laid off the mince pies, and does a skinny 10-3, but he gets on well with the horse, and we hope it is worth it!! Talking of weighty issues - amazed to see on Tuesday that Colebrooke has not been dropped at all for finishing tailed off in Lingfield at the weekend. C is in the grip of the handicapper, and I am not sure what he has to do to get dropped!! is getting beaten 83 lengths, finishing seventh of seven not enough???!! Needless to say he will struggle again when we next see him! Carolina Wren ran a cracking race in Ludlow yesterday. Her first run since her wind op, she travelled sweetly and was just run out of fourth on the run in. There will be races to be won with her. Ereyna was well beaten, but did make a bad mistake down the back straight, and with a handicap mark she should be capable of picking up a little mares race somewhere. It does show that the horses are all in good form - long may it continue!!
