Best wishes for the New Year to all!! The horses continue to run to form, with Maypole Lass running a nice race in Doncaster to finish fourth. It was great to see her owner Ben there with his family, and he, like us was pleased with her run. She looks very much as though a step up in trip will suit, and is likely to have a small break now. The tongue tie deployed for the first time did the trick, and she should be gracing the winners circle before the end of the season. San Telm will be aimed at a novice handicap chase in Leicester next Tuesday - he is in fantastic form. Benefit Cut missed his day out in Doncaster and will now be aimed at a nice race in Ascot on the 18th. Smart Exit will head to Towcester again on Sunday 19th, he is in fantastic form with himself!! Colebrooke could take his chance in a decent handicap chase in Kempton on the 11th. If he goes he will be carrying lighter weights than of late, so we will see if that helps the little man. Dawn Commander continues in to come on in leaps and bounds, and is doing plenty of cantering. As a 129 rated horse should - he gives everyone a fantastic feel, and at just six, he should have plenty of big days ahead of him.
