Genny Wren goes to Ludlow today for the Conditional Jockeys chase. She is ridden by promising conditional Thomas Garner. Genny was running a big race at the Shropshire track until being hampered and unluckily unseating her jockey 4 out. She then got stuck in the Huntingdon mud last time which explains her poor run. Hopefully the addition of the tongue tie will be beneficial and she will run well. Tomorrow her half sister, Carolina Wren goes to Huntingdon for the mares hurdle. There are only 5 runners, but there are a couple of very decent mares in the 5 and hopefully she will run well under Sam Jones. The plan is to run Native Princess in the bumper in Warwick on Friday, and she will be scoped this morning to confirm her well being. Colebrooke will run in Kempton on Saturday. 2m 5f in Kempton should suit, and he will appreciate slightly less demanding going - a jockey will be confirmed later this week. Smart Exit will be entered in Leicester next Tuesday, but that is only a back up as his target is Towcester on Sunday - he again worked really well yesterday and appears in great form. Dawn Commander seems fine after his win on Sunday. Photos of which can now be found at www.hoycubedphotography.com
