Native Princess makes her racecourse debut in the mares bumper in Warwick tomorrow. NP is a beautifully bred filly, she has six winning siblings and they all managed to win bumpers, although it took a few of them a couple of goes at it. This may well be the case with this girl tomorrow, with all the wet weather she has never set foot on the turf so that will be a bit alien to her, and also due to the recent climate she has not had the benefit of a racecourse gallop - so she will find tomorrow a steep learning curve! Oh - and the race looks about as hot as they get for mares races!! NP is learning all the time and we are looking forward to getting her going - big school for her starts tomorrow!! Yesterday Genny Wren was pulled up - her breathing letting her down badly! She will be under the knife again!! This weekend looks like fun - Colebrooke is an intended runner in Kempton, and as we stand at the moment he will be reunited with Brendan Powell who got such a good tune out of him in Sandown in early 2012, Colebrooke is in good form, and Brendan Powell has booted home a couple of winners for the yard around the Sunbury track so it's good to have him (hopefully). Sunday and Smart Exit goes to Towcester - he is in flying form, and with regular pilot Josh Moore required in Fontwell SE will be reunited with Tom O'Brien - a while since Tom sat on one for us - his little chat with Stuart did the trick!!! Maypole Lass was scoped yesterday, and was clean so she is still on track for her reappearance in Doncaster a week tomorrow, where hopefully she will encounter a bit better ground, and could go well off of her mark.
