What a result in the Champion Chase yesterday!! Sire De Grugy for the Moores!! A fantastic horse, a great jockey and a fabulous family. Mrs Robesons association with the family runs deep. Ryan rides the vast majority of her flat horses, Jamie and Josh get plenty of the jumping team, so there was no louder shouts than those that rang out around Tyringham!! Who knows we may get a festival success up for Josh in Aintree!! Away from Cheltrenham, Ereyna ran a blinder in 5th in Huntingdon. The switch to handicaps did the trick and there will be a little race to be won with her over a trip. Sam gave her a peach of a ride. Nothing much going on for the next week or so, but next week looks like being busier. Smart Exit has been entered for a 3m 5f handicap chase in Warwick next Wednesday, and Maypole Lass has been put in the mares handicap hurdle, although that could end up a but grand, and she will probably head to Ludlow on the Thursday. Colebrooke will have an entry in Newbury on the 22nd, he will be near the top of the weights in a 0-115, so the plan is to book the services of a top conditional to give him a bit of help. On better ground, and down into a realistic grade, I can see him running well. Can Big Bucks do it today? I think he can, and at the price he has to be backed!!
