Well OK - she was second, but in fairness, other than a Foinavon style shock, she was never going to beat the favourite, so she has in effect won her race! Travelling sweetly over this longer trip, and jumping fluently, she ran a cracker, and will be winning her hurdle race soon! The same colours will be seen in Newbury tomorrow, when Colebrooke takes his chance in the handicap hurdle. 19 run, including an easy winner from Chepstow today, but Colebrooke is in fantastic form, and this grade is a lot easier than he has been running in. I fully expect him to run very well, with the very capable claimer Ryan Hatch taking 7lbs off his back.
