NOW A WINNER - ON HIS FIRST RUN FOR US!! Our second 'Club' horse. With the recent success of Dawn Commander, who has won 3 from 4 for us, and has risen to the heady heights of 142 over hurdles, I had many enquiries about a second 25 member syndicate. It has taken a while, but we are delighted to be able to offer shares in CLOONACOOL. This super looking 6 year old son of Beneficial, has had four runs in his native Ireland, showing a decent level of form. This is what the wise folks at Timeform think of his form:
Jump
fourth foal: half-brother to 3 winners, including fair hurdler Kilmainham (2m winner, by Celtic Swing) and bumper winner/fair hurdler Valleymount (2m winner, by Milan): dam (h136), 2m hurdle winner (stayed 2½m), 1½m winner on Flat, half-sister to useful hurdler/fair chaser (stayed 2½m) Slievecorragh: fair form in bumpers: 14/1, 8¾ lengths fifth of 10 to Fort Smith at Ballinrobe last time: fair form over hurdles: better effort when 14¾ lengths eighth of 21 to Dromnea in maiden at Punchestown in 2013/14: raced around 2m.
Cloonacool is a son of the Champion sire Beneficial, out of a dam (Newhall), who as a juvenile hurdler, was placed in all three of the big spring National Hunt Festivals. She was second in the Triumph hurdle in Cheltenham, and third in the 4 year old hurdle at the Grand National meeting, before going on to be just touched off into second at the Puncehstown Festival. Below you can see her run in the Triumph Hurdle
Cloonacool has 2 half brothers and a half sister. All three are winners, with the half sister gaining some valuable black type, by being placed in a listed bumper. As mentioned he is by the Champion sire Beneficial, who has sired top horses such as last years stayers hurdle winner More Of That, along with Benefficient, Kid Cassidy, Mount Benbulben, Realt Dubh, and Realt Mor, among a host of other top class hurdlers and chasers. He will be trained near Milton Keynes by the bang in form Renee Robeson, who does so well with the horses that we send her.
We are very excited about this boy, and have already had a huge take up of shares in him. There are only 2 shares (of 25) remaining, at a cost of £970, plus £25/week all inclusive training/keep fee.
As an member of Nick Brown Racing you are free to visit the yard at any time (by arrangement), and will get to know a great bunch of like minded people, who love their racing and enjoy some great times together at the races. You will receive 1 owners badge every time the horse runs (extras will be available, the cost of which will be deducted from your share of the prize money at the end of the season - you will not have to pay for the extra badges on the day!). You will receive 4% of the net prize money won by Cloonacool at the end of the season, and will receive 4% of any sale value (less costs) that is achieved should he be sold in the future. There is no fixed term, but as an owner, you will have an obligation to pay for the upkeep of your share of Cloonacool, until a time your share is sold.
As I have had a huge take up in shares already, there are just a handful remaining, so please don't delay in getting in touch. email info@nickbrownracing.co.uk or call 07909 518902. FORWARD THINKING, TRADITIONAL VALUES. Great value - even greater fun!
