Yesterday was quite a day!! Cloonacool seemed very popular! When I wrote yesterdays blog I had taken orders for 3 shares, and shortly afterwards Roger Butson, who has a share in Smart Exit, also decided to dip his toe in with the new boy! It will not be long before he is sold out which is always good news! I have been keeping across his form, and it is all stacking up very nicely, with horses that have been placed in and around him in his last 2 bumpers all going on to frank the form in subsequent bumpers or hurdles. We like what we saw before he headed off on a short break, so there is an awful lot to look forward to this winter!! I have finally had a chance to have a count up after the 'not'cricket - and I am pleased to say that our evening raised £400 for The Injured Jockeys Fund. Thanks to all that turned out and supported the event - it is put on for owners and club members to get to meet each other over a drink or two and have a good social evening - without you turning out there is no point putting it on!! Hopefully we will see you all at Eversholt CC again next year, when, fingers crossed, the weather will be a bit more on our side!!
