Firday 31 October
Cloonacool is declared to run in Huntingdon on Sunday. Brendan Powell rides again, and 12 run. A winner last time out 'George' will have to suffer the burden of an extra 7lb penalty this time, which will make things tougher in a deeper race than he contested in Stratford a few weeks ago. On the positive side - he did everything wrong that day, and the application of some different tack, and a right handed track should bring out a bit of an improvement, but as always you can never be sure. he goes there fit and well, and we will know where we are a lot more after the race. A little delayed today - but rest assured I will be ringing round in an hour or two to confirm badges etc. Carolina Wren runs in Uttoxeter later on. She seems in great old form at home, and the trip, track and ground should suit so hopefully this ultra tough little mare should run well! The rest of the string seem in great form, so long may it continue! Native Princess in entered in Warwick on Wednesday - it looks a strong heat - but she is in, and we can see where we go. Smart Exit, who appears to be in the form of his life at home is entered in Chepstow on Wednesday as well. His race looks like a nice opportunity, with track and trip sure to suit. We do have a couple of shares for sale in Smart Exit - so if you would like to go to the races as one of his owners, then please take a look at him on the For Sale page, and give me a call on 07909 518902 or email info@nickbrownracing.co.uk - This slow maturing type has taken time to fill his frame, but he really looks them part this year - and now might just be the time for him!! Cloonacool could be sold out by the end of the day, so if you want a day at the races on Sunday as the owner of a winner get in touch very quickly!! Tough and brave little San Telm, who was fifth at Cheltenham last time out - and is qualified for the Cheltenham Festival next year is also after an owner - have a look at him too!! He is a super little horse, who will take his 4 owners to some very nice tracks this season!1
