Thursday 13 November

Josh Moore was in this morning to reacquaint himself with a few of the horses he has missed sitting on since he sttod himself down earlier in the summer with a shoulder injury. Now back in full swing, he also got the chance to have his first sit on Benefit Cut, and all went well. San Telm schooled very well, Dawn Commander couldn't quite work out why his routine had changed - so you can imagine what he was like - but all in all things went very well. Ground is still Good to Soft in Cheltenham, but if they get the rain forecast it will ease. We will still run DC though - we need to test him out on soft - he is in fantastic form! Cloonacool breezed so well yesterday that he has earned 2 entries in Warwick next week - a 0-115 handicap hurdle over 2m 3f, and a 2m national hunt novice hurdle. He isn't duty bound to go, but we thought we would put him in and take a look. When I have been though the races I'll give his owners a call. Cheltenham tomorrow to the sales - have seen a couple of horses I think could represent a bit of value, so we may well come back with a new pony!!
