Cettis Warbler, would have been down at Southcourt Stud this weekend, wishing her son and daughter all the best on their debuts. Pine Warbler went to Chepstow, where he travelled very well for a long way before his lack of a run, and a slight wind issue caught him out. His sister Bonnelis Warbler again travelled nicely to half way, on a wet and windy, and frankly horrible afternoon in Southwell yesterday. She felt the pinch as they turned the gas on, and will also probably benefit from a slight tweak of her wind. 'Rookie' Trainer Stuart has made a few entries for the weekend - Benefit Cut is entered in both Doncaster and Newbury, and he has entered Maypole Lass in a listed Mares hurdle in Doncaster on Saturday as well. Their ground is still Good To Soft, Good in places, and with a pretty dry forecast for them, it could turn out that she will get her ground. She is in fantastic form!! Paddy The Deejay is also in fine form, and will head to Sandown a week on Friday. Tomorrow new lad Bold Conquest arrives from Ireland - we are very much looking forward to getting cracking with him - he will run through the summer. Shares are available - take a look at him on the For Sale Page. Also arriving in the country is a 2yr old by Ballingarry, that has been bought for a client. He will be broken this spring, and will be trained from a 4 yr old. He has a fine pedigree, and is a very exciting horse from France. We have spied a couple of super prospects in the Irish Point To Point field as well this weekend - for more information on these, or more about Bold Conquest, please give me a call on 07909 518902 - or email info@nickbrownracing.co.uk
