Wednesday 25 February

WOW - what a busy morning, and to be fair, this afternoon has not been much different!! There has been a great response to the arrival of Bold Conquest, and this morning it was just one call after another from folks wanting to take a share in him! I can safely say I have never had that sort of response for any horse we have syndicated in the past! Outstanding. Bold Conquest is settling in at Fences Farm - and so is not being asked to do too much, but from what he has done it is evident that he is a very nimble and athletic horse, who as mentioned yesterday, will be perfectly suited to summer jumping over here! Please have a look at him on our For Sale Page, and give me a call on 07909 518902, or email info@nickbrownracing.co.uk for further details, or to book a time to come and have a look at him in action. Already have two people coming up on Friday!! Smart Exit will have to have a few weeks on the easy list, after concerted attempts to rid him of the germ that is bothering him have proved fruitless. He will now be eased off and allowed to recover. He will be reassessed in 3-4 weeks. Maypole Lass is entered in a ritzy mares listed hurdle on Saturday, but it is starting to look like it could get to be quite a decent race. There is a chance she could go, if they miss the rain up there, and the ground gets to be Good To Firm in places, as this would suit her down to the ground, and a few of the other connections may be loathed to run their good mares on it! We are praying they miss the rain. Benefit Cut is entered there as well, and isn't so ground dependant, so he could go come what may, but he does have Newbury as an option if that race cuts up to not many runners.
