Monday 27 April
We have had a busy weekend showing off new boy Christmas Twenty to a few folks. He has been roundly acclaimed, and as you can see from the photos - he is a stunning looking horse, with the athleticism to match!! There are currently just a couple of the 5 shares remaining, and these will only be on the market for another 10 days - so be quick if you would like a share of this super prospect, who's from was given another boost yesterday!! As mentioned Christmas Twenty was third on his second run - and the horse that finished second that day - Inchiquin All Star, (just a head in front of CT) went on to win his next race by 25 lengths, beating a horse called Listen Here. Inchiquin All Star was sold on Friday for £50,000, and Listen Here ( 25 lengths behind him remember) was the winner of his maiden point to point yesterday!! All in all it shows that Christmas Twenty has some very good looking form to his name, and with his looks and athleticism he looks like taking high rank in the professional sphere over here! We are all very excited about this horse!! Please have a look at him on the For Sale Page, and give me a call on 07909 518902, or email info@nickbrownracing.co.uk. Dawn Commander is in good order, and has been out to exercise this morning. He will head to Haydock on Saturday 9 May. After this a view will be taken as to his future plans over the summer - Stuart and I had a bit of fun on Saturday afternoon looking at soe options for him on the flat!!!! Photographs from last Thursday should be available from Les Hurley - he can be contacted on leshurley@btinternet.com - I am sure he will send you the proofs by email. Bold Conquest has been entered for a 0-120 handicap hurdle in Uttoxeter on Saturday, he worked well on Saturday, and the good ground up there at the moment is fine. In fairness if they had significant rain it shouldn't effect us too much anyway!
