Yes - the second of September is now Christmas Day - well, Christmas Twenty day, as our striking son of Zagreb makes his debut for The Chicheley Partnership tomorrow in Southwell. Purchased in the spring, CT has done nothing but impress since he came back into work in mid June. His work has been eyecatching, and he should run a very nice race in his first bumper tomorrow. Win lose or draw this lad has a future, and we will learn a great deal about him tomorrow. Nick Scholfield takes the ride - his first ride for the yard, but Nick is a smashing bloke, and a very good jockey, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to add him to the rider roster. Transfer deadline day today, and I have to say I am delighted with the squad of horses that we have this season - but like all good teams, we are always on the hunt for more talent, and I am sure we will be making more signings before the year is out.
