Native Princess Delay
Native Princess will not be running in Newton Abbot tomorrow. They missed the forecast heavy rain at the track yesterday afternoon, and their ground is given as good this morning, with a mainly dry couple of days forecast. Having spoken to the Clerk Of The Course this morning we decided that we wouldn't risk her on ground that looked like it would be riding on the fast side of good by Friday afternoon. The other reason for skipping the journey to Devon was that Henry Daly, who, like us had been monitoring the weather, decided to run the 130 rated mare Bantam, who we would rather not take on at this stage. Mr Daly was only going to run on a faster surface, and we were only going on a slow one, so he gets what he wants this time! Native Princess is a talented mare - a winner of her last 2, and a horse with a super future ahead of her. There is still a share available in her (see the For Sale Page), and she is a mare that you will be having a lot of fun with for many years to come - she is now a dual winner, and is a half sister to 2 black type winners, and 5 other individual winners! She is a terrific broodmare prospect when her racing days are over!! 07909 518902 to get involved - she will now be aimed at Bangor On Dee on October 1st.
