Wednesday 30 September

Well done to Stuart and all of his team at Fences Farm - they have banged out another winner - Kayla winning a bit cosily at Southwell yesterday. Stepping up dramatically in trip from 2m to nearly 3, she travelled a touch keenly in the early stages. Apart from 2 slight mistakes at the same flight on each of the last 2 circuits she cruised into the lead on the home bend and won as she liked really! She seems fine after her run (just a minor cut) and is out in the field enjoying the morning sunshine. The yard are in flying form, and today they have a runner in the last in Chepstow, fingers crossed he can add to the impressive haul over the past week! Tomorrow Christmas Twenty will make the short trip to Warwick. He got himself in a bit of a tizwas on the lorry on the way to Southwell for his bumper, so although Stuart thinks he has found the key to him travelling better, the decision has been made to give him as short a journey on the lorry as we can at this stage and go to Warwick. Josh Moore rides. Native Princess will head to Bangor On Dee tomorrow. Their ground is good, and she needs to run in a novice, carrying a penalty, before they will give her a handicap mark - so she will go, and after her run we will be able to make a few plans for her! Paddy Brennan rides. San Telm worked very nicely yesterday, and if there is no Good To Firm in the ground in Uttoxeter on Sunday he will go there. Josh, who gets on so well with him will ride.
