Bold Conquest will bypass Market Rasen on Saturday, and instead head to Worcester next Wednesday. A number of factors determined the decision - firstly Worcester is a novice handicap chase, and BC will not fin himself up against some seasoned old campaigners after just one completed start over the bigger obstacles. The fences at Worcester are, in my opinion easier than the stiff fences in Market Rasen, and he will have to carry less weight in Worcester, in a race that looks like it could cut up a bit. The race tomorrow looks very competitive. Not easy for his army of owners that want to come and see him run, but we have t do everything right by the horse, and we felt that Worcester was the right call!! Native Princess also has an entry over there, and her race looks red hot, but we will see this from now, as the better horses all come out to play!! Reyno ran a sound race yesterday in Uttoxeter. The blinkers possibly not having the same effect for the second time, but he stayed on well after the last to end up a fast finishing third. He will surely win a race!!
