Massive congratulations to Stuart and the owners of Wolf Of Windlesham who landed the Grade 2 JCB Triumph Hurdle trial in Cheltenham on Saturday. WOW arrived at Fences Farm in August, and was quickly snapped up by Michael Lawrence - and his judgement has been soundly rewarded. WOW travelled well early, hit a slight flat spot mid race, but was travelling well again coming down the hill and could be called the winner from the turn for home. This is usually a very informative race in the Juvenile Calender, and WOW dented the reputations of a couple of well touted horses from the yards of Alan King and Paul Nicholls! This was Stuarts 9th winner since taking over the reins at Fences Farm, and it is extraordinary to think that one of those is a Grade 2 in Cheltenham, and the other a Listed Hurdle in Market Rasen. It goes to show that Stuart and his team can really get the job done, and these sort of winners will surely be a spring board to a very long and successful career in the training ranks! WOW has come out of his race fine - and it looks as though his season will be geared around a return to Cheltenham in March! This week there are a number of entries from Fences Farm. Smart Exit is in at Chepstow on Wednesday, Cloonacool is an intended runner in Ascot on Friday, San Telm is entered in Uttoxeter on Sunday. Stuart reports them all to be in good heart! Please have a look at our Horses For Sale page as we have a number of shares available! Join a stable which is very much on the up, and that delivers on the promises - we can get you in the winners enclosure, and will do it with the best value horses on the market! 07909 518902 or email info@nickbrownracing.co.uk for further details.
