Tuesday 2 February

A few days since we updated, Savingforvegas is fine after her battling win in Warwick. We will wait a couple of weeks and then look for another race for her. She is ultra tough! Smart Exit is also fine ater his run, and he will return to more testing tracks. San Telm travelled to Doncaster on Friday - the good ground was much to his liking. Given an enterprising ride by Josh, he bounced out, got to the front and lead them a merry dance until just after the last! The forceful tactics had most of the rest of the field in trouble as they took Rose Hill, but the efforts told in the end and he tired in the closing 100 yards to finish fourth. A change of tactics that nearly worked - but to be fair San Telm really enjoyed himself, and there if plenty of fun to be had with him this spring/early summer! He is fine after his run. Wolf Of Windlesham got stuck in the mud on Saturday in Cheltenham. There will be other days. This week Reyno is declared in Ludlow tomorrow, and Christmas Twenty will head to Towcester on Thursday. CT will sport cheekpieces for the first time. Sneaking Budge is sound when he walks out every hour, but the limb is still swollen. The change od ant inflammatories and anti biotics has not had the desired effect. He will switch again, and have more time. Stuart was keen to get him going a bit more, but until the swelling has gone, the vets have said to continue as he is at the moment. Bold Conquest continues in good heart, and is just waiting for some better ground.
