Thursday 4 February

For the third time in his last 5 runs, Reyno conspired to finish second again yesterday. Given a peach of a ride by Gina Andrews, he travelled like a dream, took it up in the home straight, but got collared after the last to go down by just 2 lengths. We make a joke of him finding a way to get beaten, but in fairness to him I think he is just unlucky, and he runs into one! As tuart said yesterday - 'It's better than third'! Christmas Twenty goes to Towcester this afternoon. A short trip on the road will help, as should the cheekpieces. His Stratford form is outstanding - splitting two very good horses, and the form of his Huntingdon run is working out very nicely as well! He found another party trick in Fakenham, bit has been given plenty of time, and we are hoping that he can put his best foot forward today - but it is a bit of a fact finding mission!
