Visible Light

We first asked about buying this horse 18 months ago, so naturally we didn't take too long to snaffle him up when he cam on the market a couple of weeks ago. Visible Light is an 8yr old son of Shantou. Shantou has been making giant strides as a National Hunt Sire. The winner of the St Leger, he has sired plenty of top class horses including Ballynagour, Our Father and Briar Hill. His stock are tough, sound individuals. His dam was unraced but is the half sister to bumper/smart hurdle winner Staying Article, and is the grand daughter of Triumph Hurdle winner Shawiya. Visible Light is 16.1hh, and is a strong robust sort of horse. He has run 15 times, in bumpers and over hurdles, and has been placed 3 times, including third on his latest start on February 4th. VL comes form the same yard as Cloonacool, and will hopefully take to racing on this side of the Irish Sea as well as Cloonacool did! There are just 5 shares available in this lad.
