Wednesday 30 March

The team at Fences Farm have all of the horses on great form. Congratulations to connections of Petethepear who broke his maiden in fine style on Saturday, when taking advantage of a decent slice of luck to win the Challenger Series final in Haydock. Christmas Twenty has entries in a few places on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, although it looks unlikely he will go on Sunday. He is also in great form, and the step up in trip wherever he goes will suit. His run will depend on ground and opposition as always. Our latest acquisition has passed the vet in Ireland, and will be over this side of the water in the next few days. Four year old Point To Point form in Ireland is always something to monitor closely, and when an individual that finished third last weekend, beaten less than a length became available we had to make a play for him. His run at the weekend was his debut, and he ran to a rating of 87 which is very decent. He will be aimed at a bumper in about a month. For details please get in touch on 07909 518902. We will have a look at possible races for the rest of the horses tomorrow, and make some plans, although one that is already in the book is a trip to Cheltenham with San Telm. ST has run very well at the track, and comes up the hill really well - he should give his owners a great day out!! There is a 25% share still available in him - you could go to Cheltenham as an owner!!- again - get in touch - 07909 518902.
