Once again, patience has paid off, and having waited a fair while for a new horse we are thrilled to have secured Pull Together! This 4 year old bay gelding has run just once in an Irish Maiden Point To Point on 27 March, where he was beaten just under a length into third. This is a superb effort on debut, and the two horses in front of him are both destined to appear at some very glitzy boutique sales over the course of the next couple of weeks. The time of the race was very good, and having led for most of the way he was headed approaching 2 out, only to rally again approaching the last. He was simply run out of things on the run in. Pull Together is by Curtain Time - who is simply one of the best bred stallions standing. Curtain Time was trained by Sir Henry Cecil during his brief career. He was very much a talking horse before he hit the track - but lived up to the hype winning his maiden on debut impressively. He was then talked of as a very serious hope for the Derby, but was to meet with injury on just his third start and had to be retired (fractured sesamoid bone). Curtain Time is out of a Champion Broodmare, and is by the legendary Saddlers Wells. He is a half brother to no less than 3 top class racehorses, including sires Ali Royal, Taipan, and top racemares Sleepytime herself the dam of 4 black type winners (including Gentlemans Deal, Hathal) and Oonagh Macool (dam of Cool Street). Pull Togethers dam Whos To Know was herself a winner of a Point To Point and a hurdle and is a half sister to 3 other winners including black type winner Bambootcha, and the very talented Lord Maizey! As you can see from the video, where he can be seen cantering nearest the camera upsides Cloonacool, Pull Together is a lovely looking individual, standing 16.1hh, with a really easy way of going. Those that have ridden him report him to be very athletic, with plenty of power. We are delighted to have him, and believe that he is a super prospect for bumpers hurdles and chases going forward. Pull Together is available as a whole at £25,000, or in shares (pro rata). Please call me on 07909 518902, or email info@nickbrownracing.co.uk for more information.
