Saturday 16 April

Bold Conquest will now head to Uttoxeter on April 30th after swerving Warwick next week. It is a day many of hios owners will remember well, as he will contest the very same race that he won last year - hopefully he can repeat the dose!! He worked very well this morning in front of 2 of his owners, Claire and John. Also out second lot was new boy Pull Together who goes really nicely. Also getting wet at the top of the hill was Paul Cole who has taken a share in this very exciting prospect. Claire is having a share as well, which just leaves one available!! Please have a look at him on the For Sale page and get in touch (07909 518902). Also out second lot was Christmas Twenty, who has had plenty of schooling over a variety of obstacles over the past week or so. Although the rain kept on falling we all headed back up the hill third lot, to see Cloonacool lead Top Gary in a canter. Cloonacool is slowly being wound down, and is thoroughly enjoying giving the youngsters a lead! Top Gary is a tall, leggy 3 yr old son of Ballingary who was purchased for Ben Turner out of France 12 months ago. He has been living at The Elms Stud, and is just in this spring to have a gentle introduction to life as a racehorse. Stuart is delighted with what he sees, as Gary seems to be a very athletic individual with what looks like a bright future ahead of him. He does everything very easily for a horse of his age and stature. Reyno a non runner today in Bangor, as they got 15mm of rain last night instead of the forecast 4mm and their ground has gone heavy. He will be out next week.
