Only a few shares remain in this gorgeous 4 year old filly, by top sire Stowaway, out of an unraced mare who is a half sister to Brunico who was a multiple winner, including The Ormond Stakes (Group 3) on the flat, and was 2nd in the Triumph Hurdle, and The Lanzarote Hurdle, before going on to win no less than 25 point to points!! Molly Childers is herself a half sister to Gusda, who won 2 hurdle races including the Grade 3 Blackwater Hurdle in Cork, and was placed 7 times, and was also placed 3 times over hurdles. She is also a half sister to Thomond, who is a winner over hurdles and fences, and was also placed in Listed company over fences. Molly Childers was purchased at the prestigious Tattersalls Ireland Sale in Cheltenham, and I think she is outstanding value. At only 4 she has had 2 runs in Irish Point To Points, and on her most recent start she was 2nd beaten just 3 lengths by a very good mare who was subsequently sold for £70,000. The form of this race has already been franked in some style when 2 mares that were over 10 lengths behind Molly Childers went on to fight out the finish in a decent 12 runner event in early May. Molly Childers is 16hh and has the size to jump both hurdles and fences. This very exciting filly will be ridden away for about a week before going on a break, and will be aimed at a bumper in the late summer early autumn!
