Another National Hunt Season comes to a close, and congratulations to this seasons Champions. A 10th trainers title for P. Nicholls, and a first Jockeys title for Richard Johnson - a very worthy winner, having been second to McCoy for 16 of his 20 title winning seasons!! The season came to a close today in Sandown where the opener was one by Wolf Of Windlesham for Stuart and connections. A great run - congratulations to all! It has been a busy few days - Doncaster Tuesday and Wednesday, and Cheltenham Thursday and Friday. Yesterday in Cheltenham was a fun day - a horsebox on the stand - lots of compliments, and hopefully a few orders! A man to see us to discuss ownership options for the future, and to see a day at the sales - and one or two horses to look at with an eye to buy. We were underbidder on one of our 2 targets, but I am delighted that we managed to get the second one, and we think she is real value!! 4 yr old Molly Childers has joined the team at Fences Farm. By Stowaway, out of an unraced half sister to Ormond Stakes winner, and Triumph hurdle second Brunico, she is herself a half sister to two black type winners in Gusda, and Thomond. She stands 16hh and was second on her second start in Irish Point to Points last month - to a mare that went on to make £70,000 at the sales. There are a very limited number of shares remaining in her already - so have a look at her on the For Sale Page, and get in touch!! 07909 518902 or info@nickbrownracing.co.uk
