Bold Conquest will not be partnered by Brendan Powell on Saturday, as his agent has just called to say that he has suffered a slight injury, and will not be fit to ride. Luckily we have a number of able replacements in Josh Moore, Tom O'Brien and Paddy Brennan - all of whom have ridden him in the past! A shame as Brendan gets on well with the horse, but in fairness none of the others have done much wrong on him either!! The word is that Brendan will be fit for Monday if Christmas Twenty goes to Kempton. He has been entered in the 8.50 in Wetherby next Wednesday, and we will look at both heats and decide which is the best option, paying close regard to opposition and ground. It looks as though we will need to be shopping again this spring. Recent interest in the share options that we have available has been terrific, and with all probability we will have very few shares available by the end of the week!
