Twelve months ago Bold Conquest broke his maiden in the 3m handicap hurdle in Uttoxeter. This afternoon he goes back there to attempt to 'retain his crown'. It will be a lot tougher this afternoon - he has 7lbs more on his back, and has 7 more rivals. The yard report him to be in good form, and todays jockey, Josh Moore is also 'hot' at the moment. We are hoping they both have a safe trip round and run well. The new horses, Pull Together, and Molly Childers will head off on holiday next week. There is just 1 20% share remaining in Pull Together, and there are now 3 12.5% shares left in Molly Childers. Both are really nice horses, and I believe they represent fantastic value! After a short break, both will return to training in late June/early July, and be aimed at early season bumpers, before embarking on a career over hurdles and than over fences. Both are from really good families, and in the case of MC will have a bright future as a broodmare when her racing days are over, as her dam was a half sister to two Black Type winners and she herself is a half sister to 2 Black Type winners.
