Very interesting to see Jennies Jewel win the Ascot Stakes at Royal Ascot yesterday! A superb front running display in what is a race usually dominated by very good dual purpose horses. JJ has some excellent form behind top class mares over obstacles, an she showed she was a very good flat mare yesterday. JJ is by Flemensfirth, and we have one of those! Our 3 yr old filly purchased at the Goffs UK Spring Store Sale is a gorgeous chesnut filly, who has been broken, and has been turned away for the summer. She is all quality, and who knows - could be another top class filly like Jennies Jewel. She is out of a mare by Old Vic, one of the very best broodmare sires, who is a half sister to Macs Joy, and a full sister to Sea Of Thunder, who himself was a very good racehorse!
