I'm back at it today after a few days break. A mix of sunshine and showers down on the South Downs!! While away the available share in Sneaking Budge was snaffled up quickly! There are still a couple of shares available in Bold Conquest who is back in and looking fantastic - as mentioned before, he is feeling so well, he hopped out of his paddock a few days ago to join Ereyna! The quest for another horse continues - JD was down in Ascot on Tuesday looking over what was on offer down there. I had earmarked 2 horses that I was very keen on - but they were both withdrawn on Monday evening, so we didn't even get a chance to see them! The trade was once again very strong, and it is incredibly difficult to find the right sort of horse, at the right sort of money. As ever we will be patient, and the right horse will come along - it is just a case of keeping eyes open and an ear to the ground! We do of course have just a couple of shares left in the 3 yr old filly by Flemensfirth, who is out of a half sister to the mighty Macs Joy, and is currently having a summer holiday at The Elms Stud in Northants. She is a gorgeous girl, with plenty of grit, and is an outstanding prospect for bumpers, before going on over both hurdles and fences. She has plenty of value as a broodmare in the future, when her racing days are over, and she comes highly recommended! Have a look at her on the For Sale Page, and get in touch - info@nickbrownracing.co.uk or 07909 518902
