I nipped over to The Elms Stud this morning where I met Paul and Jan Wells who were there to see their 3 yr old Kalanisi gelding purchased at The Derby Sale in Ireland in June. He came over to Jamie Goss' breaking and pre training yard near Banbury where he was broken in and got going. He then moved up to The Elms last week. He has settled in well with Ben Turners Top Garry, and our Flemensfirth Filly, although the two boys have paired up, and put the fillys nose out of joint a bit - but that will do her no harm as she is a cocky madam anyway!! All three will go to Stuart in the autumn and all will be classmates from the off, if all goes to plan they will do their exercise together, and who knows - could even be making their debuts at about the same time!! All three are super looking youngsters, and I am sure they all have big futures ahead of them!!
