Tuesday 30 August
A joy to show new boy Apasionado to one of his new owners yesterday. Martin and Family braved the bank holiday traffic and made it to Fences Farm in good time.
They arrived a bit early and got the added bonus of seeing Aristocles school over hurdles. And then a few of the others canter. Third lot they got to see Apasionado,
when he cantered with Wolf Of Windlesham, he has settled in very well, and is eating well. He is now doing two full canters, and will quicken up on Saturday, for the
first time since he arrived. He is still looking very impressive, and took the eye of a good judge who was enjoyed a trip to Fences Farm this morning. It is a return to
ownership for Martin who co owned a very good horse in years past, and we are delighted that after 15 years out of the sport he has chosen Stuart and one of our
Partnerships to rekindle his sporting interests!! This morning we got to see the four that are the most forward do a quicker piece again. Cloonacool went up front with
Reyno, and looks in cracking form. Bold Conquest and Pull Together were in behind and both went really well too. Cloonacool will have an away day down to
Lambourn as he did last year, as that will do him the world of good. He will travel down there with a companion, which could well be Bold Conquest who did the same
trip last year as well. Stuart took delivery of two new schooling fences this morning, and they look terrific! he will rejig his existing schooling fences slightly, and
these additions will get plenty of use.
