Stuart has made the first entry of our 2016-17 season. Bold Conquest is entered in Warwicks 3.25 on Tuesday 20th. He actually ran in the race last year, and ran well to finish fourth. He did a really good piece of work this morning behind Cloonacool and Apasionado, and seems in flying form - as Stuart has felt since he came back into work in June. He schooled in cheekpieces on Monday, and he will run in them as they seemed to focus his mind and perk him up a bit! As mentioned Cloonacool and Apasionado worked together this morning and worked nicely. I hope they liked each others company- as it looks like they will be sharing a long trip to Market Rasen together a week on Saturday (24th). Pull Together who has had an easy week was back at it this morning, and cantered nicely - back on track with him, although he will not be rushed as he is a fine big horse, and an exciting prospect for bumpers when their is a bit of juice in the ground. As on of our owners said yesterday - 'Can't wait to get going'!! Well, the first ones are just around the corner now - and in no time at all we will be in the thick of the jumps season proper!
