There is a huge crowd of Nick Brown Racing members heading to Kempton tomorrow to support Cloonacool, who is declared in the handicap hurdle at 2.55pm. Cloonacool is in fine form and worked really nicely last week, in a piece of work with Elusive Cowboy. EC has backed that work up by winning in Wolverhampton this afternoon, a result that the would not have surprised the trainer who advised those that came over for a very sociable morning on Christmas Eve , to have a couple of quid on! A 16/1 return! Hopefully Cloonacool can do the same tomorrow, in a race that he won 2 years ago, although this looks a deeper race, and he is 4 lbs higher and 2 years older. Good luck to those who are making the trip to Kempton!! This afternoon victory of Elusive Cowboy, is also good news for the owners of Chandos Belle, who also featured in the piece of work along with Cloonacool. CB is much improved, and looks likely to make her hurdling debut in Doncaster on Thursday. She worked great on Christmas Eve, and I am very much looking to seeing what she can do over hurdles, as she has schooled really well, including over the baby chase fences! Also looking really good on Saturday were Land league and Maria's Benefit, who did a swinging piece. Shares are available in Land League, and he is very much a horse to look forward to. Ownership of Maria's Benefit is yet to be decided, but I am sure she will not be looking for an owner for too long, as she really catches the eye, and looks a seriously nice addition to the yard. Legal OK, is a very exciting addition to the Fences Farm roster!! Great to see so many folks at Fences Farm on Christmas Eve, it was a fun morning - with a few mince pies, and cake, and a drop of Fizz for owners, and a drop of whiskey for the trainer! The horses worked well too, so all in all it was a good place to be!! We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
