Thursday 2 March

After yesterdays work, and a good look at ground, opposition and forecast we have decided where a few of them will turn out this weekend. Tricky Silence will head to the novice hurdle in Doncaster. The bumpers he is in look warm affairs, and although the hurdle could be a strong heat, it will be the best ground he encounters anywhere - so he goes there. Maria's Benefit will make the trip to Doncaster as well and will run in the bumper - again, she needs to run, and it will be the best ground available to her. Ciaran Gethings will ride both. Land League will go to Huntingdon on Sunday, and contest the opening race there. He is in good form, and seems to go on any ground - Josh Moore is pencilled in to ride, as unfortunately Brendan Powell is banned for Sunday. Chandos Belle is also in good order, and has an entry in Fontwell on Wednesday, going forward she will also have entries in Warwick on Sunday and Stratford on Monday. A busy weekend - but it looks like being fun!! The clip below shows Tricky Silence on the far side of the 4 yr old Kingsley, with Cloonacool in behind. This one is of the 4 yr old (soon to be named) Queenohearts cantering in front of Grey Warbler. QOH is coming back to form and is having a kick and a buck - hopefully it will be all systems go with her from now!!
