Two years ago we purchased Savingforvegas at the Cheltenham April sale, Last year we purchased Molly Childers - unfortunately we couldn't do the same yesterday. We couldn't find value for money on a very stiff trade - so no repeat from this sale - but we did get some better luck elsewhere privately. If all goes well there should be another new equine face in at Fences Farm within a week or so! After a quick bite to eat in The Kilkeney Inn in Andoversford last night, where it was good to see Bob Champion, who had been at the races raising money for his charity, it was a late arrival home - but we are back on the road this morning, and will be making the treck around the M25 to Fontwell where Land League will attempt to make amends for his lack lustre handicap debut last time out. We wish his owners the best of luck, he will appreciate the better ground, and the step back down in trip should suit after he stopped quickly last time.
