A very special new arrival to the Stuart Edmunds team at Fences Farm - Theclockisticking. This super looking athletic son of Gamut has a very special pedigree, and hails from a superb family - he is out of a full sister to the Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Synchronised no less! He has run in two Irish Point To Points, finishing third on his first educational start, and then finishing second on his next start. This latter run was a very good run as he was giving 5lbs to a very highly regarded winner in Royal Rendezvous who was subsequently sold for £130,000 at the Aintree Sale during the Grand National meeting. The ability of Royal Rendezvous is there for all to see, he finished fourth on bis first start to the ultra consistent Jack Devine and was then in the lead and travelling well, looking like the winner on his next start, before departing at the second last. The winner that day - De Rasher Counter then went on to win a bumper on his next start gaining an RPR of 115 - Royal Rendezvous then won his third start. TCIT was beaten just 8 lengths that day, and so trying to give the winner 5lbs - you can see that it rates a very accomplished performance. With his good looks, super pedigree, and solid form, he looks like a really top prospect, and we are delighted to have secured him. He has settled in well since his arrival, and will head off for a holiday with his new team mates in a weeks or so. He can be seen below cantering, and as you can see - he is a very athletic individual, that is keen to please! Stuart has ridden him himself and thinks he is a very nice horse, and he got a really good feel from him. His 3 yr old half brother recently sold at the tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale for 75,000 Euros - going to prove the quality of the family that this horse hails from!!
