It is a quite time at the moment, but that does not mean that we sit idle - we always have something to get our teeth into. Recently I have been working on an investment vehicle for anyone interested in investing in bloodstock. We have formed a company that will trade bloodstock for a three year term, qualifying as an EIS, and therefore very tax efficient. We have already purchased the first horse in this scheme, and are very excited about the possible returns. Please get in touch if you are interested in taking part in this - with the level of interest offered by the banks, it will be an interesting and fun way to potentially beat the rates of return offered by the institutions. The horses will be purchased in France, the UK and Ireland, and investors will be invited out to Ireland twice a year to see the stock and take in a day at a top meeting. There will also be opportunities to visit sales in such wonderful surroundings as Deauville in the summer, along with Sales in both Ireland and the UK.
