Monday 3 July
A glorious morning at Stuart Edmunds' Fences Farm yard yesterday, when we were delighted to welcome a crowd of folks as new owners of Kaloci. Made up of plenty of new faces - new to NBR, and new to ownership, along with plenty of existing and returning owners. A fantastic turn out for a Sunday morning, and they got to see Kaloci at her relaxed best. She is the perfect Syndicate horse, she is tough genuine and talented on the racecourse, but yesterday she stood for her new owners like a pet dog, enjoying the attention and letting everyone that wanted to get up close and personal to her. With another 2 shares taken over the weekend - we are down to just 3 available shares in her - be quick - everyone that saw her yesterday was very taken with her!! nickbrownracing@gmail.com Over the course of the next couple of days - Fences Farm will return to the hive of activity that is more usual than the quiet spell of the last few weeks. Stuart starts to get the winter horses back in. Cloonacool and Land League are already in, and are in fine form. Classic Ben and Molly Childers will be coming in this week, along with Maria's Benefit. Sneaking Budge, Pull Together, Queenohearts and Chandos Belle will have a little longer in the field as they will all need softer ground, and there is no point having them ready to run too early before we get enough rain. Theclockisticking will also come in this week - and is still for sale! He has to be value!! I saw his 3 yr old half brother make 75,000 Euro last Thursday!! TCIT has been placed in 2 Irish Point to Points, has proven he can be trained, and has the looks to match - he is surely a snip at £34,000 as a whole - or I would consider selling him in larger shares!! 07909 518902 to talk about him - he is a cracker!!
