Friday 29 September

All four horses from Fences Farm, that were entered in Market Rasen tomorrow have been declared and will run. First up will be Molly Childers - she is in great heart, has the benefit of two runs in Irish Points before spending last year in bumpers, and has schooled well. She had some very good form in bumpers, and if she puts her best foot forward tomorrow she should go well. Land League and Cloonacool both take their chances in the Listed Prelude Hurdle. LL, a winner last time out deserves to take his chance. He won a shade cosily the last day, and although on paper, the step from a maiden hurdle to a Listed handicap is huge - he does not lack for experience. Tomorrow will be his 7th hurdle start, after having a go in 12 point to points! CC won the race 2 years ago off of a 3lb higher mark, and looked to be doing it again last year off of a 10lb higher mark before falling heavily 2 out. He has been aimed at the race, but had a brief hold up in his prep. Stuart is very pleased with his well being, and we hope he can run his usual race! Rules debutante Theclockisticking runs in the bumper, and we wish his new connections the very best of luck! It will be a good fun day, and we hope that all the horses come home safe and sound.
