Wednesday 22 November

As we found out yesterday - it takes just one mistake in a 2m handicap chase, and all chances of winning are gone! Land League made a huge error at half way, and was always on the back foot from there. Thankfully he appears none the worse for it, and has pulled out sound this morning, and gone on the walker. he will have other days, and will be out again in 3-4 weeks. Molly Childers entered in a 2m 4f handicap hurdle for mares in Market Rasen tomorrow. We know she acts on the track, and the step up in trip should be of benefit, so hopefully she can get her head in front. She is a cracking mare, and we are looking forward to her handicap debut. She will be joined on the trip by Vinegar Hill. Back at home - Pull Together worked really nicely this morning - he has improved for his debut, and will make his hurdling debut in Towcester on the 30th. Kaloci is back in work, and seems fine, as does Chandos Belle. Now that she is over her post race stiff/soreness Stuart will get her booked in for a wind op early next week - I hope he remembers to let the BHA know. Kingsley heads to Ascot on Saturday, Clondaw Native to Huntingdon. Sneaking Budge had a canter this morning, and his owners will be thrilled to know that at the moment all is fine with him. Classic Ben worked this morning, and as ever, went well - he will have a school over hurdles tomorrow, and all being well we will look for a novice hurdle for him. Cloonacool will do the first piece of work since his wind op on Saturday (has Stuart let the BHA know??), and a handicap hurdle on Sunday 10th of December has been pencilled in for him. Queenohearts is still taking life easy after her run, as she will stick to bumpers this season, and she will not be out again until around Christmas. She did canter this morning, and is moving well.
