They are calling the forecast weather phenomenon 'The Beast From The East' - a period of very cold weather with significant snow fall with its origins in Siberia. This, if accurate, will disrupt the weeks plans!! Saturday was a glorious morning - with bright sunshine and low winds - it was a pleasure to be at Fences Farm, and a great morning for Perry to see the yard for the first time. Perry has bought a share in Chandos Belle, and we wish him the very best of luck with his first horse with us - there will be more I am sure! Also in were Olly, Olly Nick and John. After breakfast we got to see Molly Childers do a very good piece of work with Theclockisticking, with Maria's Benefit tucked in behind (just). Molly has an entry in Ludlow on Thursday, but her primary target is a Listed Race in Doncaster on Saturday, but the forecast snow could out paid to both of them! Hopefully not as she looked good on Saturday! In the second group were Queenohearts, who was very eyecatching upsides Clondaw Native. QOH is very much on course for Sandown on March 10th - and we go there with a spring in iur step, as her Towcester win in December was franked in style last Friday when the 3rd and 6th from Towcester were 1st and 3rd in Warwick. QOH seems to be improving all the time and we are very much looking forward to running her. Land League worked more like his old self under Stuart, and he will be out again in the next couple of weeks weather/ground permiting. Pull Together worked well, and has an entry in a Novices Hurdle in Doncaster on Saturday. Kaloci is entered to run in Doncaster on Friday, and we are delighted to welcome her half sister to the squad. She is un named, and is by Arcadio - she is like Kaloci, in that she isn't the biggest, but is very correct and looks athletic. There are just 25 shares available in total, and we have had a very good uptake already. Please get in touch for further details.
