A dry morning - with a strange and unfamiliar orange orb in the sky! Good to see Tony and family, Paul and Sheridan and Fran over this morning to see their horses. Second lot we waded down to the jumps field to see a couple of them do have the last action of their seasons. Queenohearts schooled in behind a work mate and went really well. She is a natural over an obstacle, and this gives her owners something to dream about over the summer. She is now done for the season - and will head off on her holidays when the warmer weather arrives. Also down in the jumps field were Pull Together and Classic Ben who both schooled over fences. Pull Together was very good indeed, and reinforced the thoughts that he will be a better chaser than hurdler, Classic Ben schooled well, but needs to learn to respect the bigger obstacles a little more. Ciaran rode Classic Ben. Third lot we headed up to the top of the hill to see some canter. Molly Childers looked great and heads to Kempton on Monday. Sneaking Budge looked superb, is working better than ever, and for that reason he will bypass the awful ground in Uttoxeter on Saturday, and wait for some slightly better ground. he has never been better! San Seb, the 3 yr old was also out in this lot, and he is a very exciting prospect. Stuart rode him himself yesterday, and was saying how impressed he was, and Ciaran rode him today as well and echoed Stuarts thoughts. San Seb will be aimed at a 3 yr old bumper in the autumn. Chandos Belle is also in fine form, and has an entry in Market Rasen next Wednesday.
