A drought - well a few dry days - and the ground at Cheltenham will be perfect for the team that Stuart has lined up to go. Four will take their chance over the two days, and we wish connections the very best of luck. Last weekend The Garratt Family had a suoer day in Aintree, where Now McGinty was just touched off in the opening race on Grand National Day. There was 10 lengths back to the third, and NM has been raised 8lbs for his efforts. He rates a really exciting novice chaser for next season. Also going up for finishing second is Molly Childers, who was put up 3 for her Kempton run. She gets in in Ayr on Friday off of her old mark, and it would be the right race for her, as she will be 3lbs well in in a race worth £30,000, but she has a small wound on the outside of a hind joint that needs to pass Stuarts inspection this afternoon for her to run. We will also monitor the ground up there, as they are due more rain than we are down here. MC is in fine form, and a decision will be made on the Ayr trip this afternoon. Also engaged on Friday are Land League in Fontwell - he is in fine form - and will only run if the ground dries up enough, and Sneaking Budge who is also sparkling at home, and is an intended runner in Southwell. He can be seen below working in the sunshine. Figarella Borget - the 3/4 sister to Sprinter Sacre is a little gem, she has been backed, and has been as good as gold. She is now having little canters on the all weather, and goes really nicely. I didn't get to see new boy Lion Rouge out at exercise on Saturday, but he is a smashing looking horse, who looks ideal for a summer jumping campaign. Everyone that has had anything to do with him really likes him, and he will soon be ready to make his UK debut.
