KALOCI

We have just 2 shares available - on a free Lease - so no capital cost. The training/keep fees are set at an all inclusive £25/week, and the term of the lease is until May 1st 2019. Kaloci may be small be she is one of the toughest horses in the yard. A 6 yr old bay mare she is by the top stallion Stowaway, out of an Old Vic mare, that has bred 2 winners from her only 2 runners. Kaloci joined us last summer, and immediately made an impact, winning a bumper on her debut in the autumn. She then went on to be placed third in one of the top mares bumpers of the season - a Listed event in Huntingdon on Boxing Day. After this she headed off over hurdles and won on her hurdling debut in Leicester, before finishing second twice, trying to concede over a stone to 2 younger horses in novice events. Her final start was in the mares final in Newbury, in which she got a terrible trip, and the race was possibly one too many for the season. Kaloci earned her owners over £11,000 in win and place prize money, only once finishing out of the first three. We have agreed her lease for the up coming season, and are very much looking forward to seeing her in some decent mares handicap hurdles over the winter. She loves soft ground, and will only improve for a step up in trip. She looks sure to be lots of fun off of her current handicap mark.
