Lion rouge is ready to run again, and he has 2 entries in Uttoxeter next Thursday evening. He was initially put in the 2m4f maiden hurdle, but we added him to the ranks of the 2m novices hurdle as well, in case that ended up a weaker affair than the 2m 4f maiden as is sometimes the case. he will also have an entry in Fontwell on Saturday 16th, and we will see which is the most suitable race for him. A decision will be made early next week, when we have seen all races. He is in fine form, and is ready to run. We had a super morning over at The Elms Stud this morning, and all of the horses there look in fantastic order. Go Millie Go and Kaloci's half sister the 4 yr old Arcadio filly are out together with 2 other mares and are doing great. Molly Childers, Maria's Benefit, Kaloci, A Little Chaos, and Figarella Borget are all out together, and a lot of them seem to have grown - Paul and Ciaran were there too, and they both thought Maria was a bigger girl, and Molly looks to have grown a bit as well. Kaloci doesn't - but she never will - small and mighty she is still! Queenohearts was with this bunch, but she was in her stable when we were there, and will head back to Fences Farm this weekend. She has let herself down very nicely! At Fences Farm we await the arrival of another purchase, which was supposed to arrive this week, but as yet hasn't found his way there. Our Bubba has impressed since he arrived, and has now headed off to the field with his new mates for a summer break. He is a cracking individual, and we are very excited by him. I think we have another great bunch of young horses this year, very much in the mould of Classic Ben, Theclockisticking and Clondaw Native who all flew the flag so well for Stuart and his team last year. this years draft looks equally impressive, and we can't wait to see them on the track! Some are for sale so if you are interested in ownership then please get in touch. nickbrownracing@gmail.com or 07909 518902
