Lion Rouge heads to Uttoxeter tomorrow evening to contest the 2m 4f maiden hurdle there. (8.15). he is such a likeable little horse, who has done nothing but improve since he arrived from France, where we picked him up after he ran in Fontainbleu in March. He likes the quicker ground, and the step up in trip looks sure to be in hiss favour - so there is lots to look forward to tomorrow. Ciaran is not back race riding until Friday, after his broken collarbone sustained a couple of months ago, so super sub, Tom O'Brian takes the ride again. he rode him on his only other UK start when LR was second in Huntingdon - and he really likes him. Although not permitted to ride on the track, Ciaran has been riding out for a couple of weeks and was in this morning to school a few. He schooled LR and he was reported to be in fine form. He also schooled Mister Miyagi, and both him and Stuart were very impressed with him! Our Bubba is now on his holiday in the field with his new chums, and there has been quite a but of interest in him. he is For Sale to stay with Stuart, and is a horse we like a lot - he could prove to be outstanding value, as he has the looks and athleticism of a really good sort, and I am sure that the drop back to a 2m bumper will be right up his street! There will be another addition arriving from Ireland tomorrow, and I am very much looking forward to him as well - a 4 yr old, by a Champion sire, out of a Black Type performing mare - he has a piece of top form in Irish points, and hopefully he will go very well in the autumn for his new owners! We do have just 3 shares left for sale in Go Millie Go - a gorgeous mare, that will be ultra competitive in a good ground bumper when she starts under rules in the late summer. She is by Milan, out of a point winning half sister to Time For Rupert, and Mahonia among others. She is a really nice mare with a page to match!!
