Lion Rouge showed all the guts and determination we credit him with last night, when going down by just a neck in the 2m4f maiden hurdle in Uttoxeter. He really is a brave little horse, and ran a cracker - jumping well, gutsing it out up the home straight, getting run over by a bigger and stronger opponent, and still going out on his shield! There was a lengthy stewards enquiry after the race, and even Harry Skelton feared he would lose the race, but eventually Holryale kept it and his owners could pick up their prize. It was bitter sweet to be defeated - as in fact the winner is owned by a syndicate put together by Ben Turner, and he runs in his colours - The Holyrale Partnership are also clients! Lion Rouge has come out of the race in good order, and will spend the day in the sunshine in the field. He will be out again around the 9th of July. he is a cracking little chap, and there are just a couple of shares left in him now, so get in touch if you would like to get involved - he will surely be winning very soon - and you could be in the winners enclosure in no time! Have a look at him on the For sale Page, and get in touch - nickbrownracing@gmail.com or 07909 518902.
